ThermoAnalytics Releases Software Version 7.1

August 10th, 2004

ThermoAnalytics, Inc. of Calumet, Michigan, announces the release of version 7.1 of its thermal and infrared signature analysis software—RadTherm, WinTherm, and MuSES.

"Version 7.1 includes many new features that will increase the productivity of advanced users," states ThermoAnalytics Vice President Al Curran, Ph.D. "For example, when setting up a transient analysis, our new CFD Results Import Wizard allows the user to map multiple sets of CFD results to the geometry at different simulation times, enabling high temporal and spatial resolution analysis of complex systems. These new features amplify not only the value of our software but also the value of partner CFD codes. This is in keeping with our mission to maximize user value."

Version 7.1 also displays the mesh-mapped CFD results on the geometry—allowing the user to confirm proper mesh mapping through the wizard. Other major features in 7.1 are user scripts and subroutines that allow customers to create their own functions, thermal links to represent spot welds, and many advanced features for IR Signature analysis.

With the integration of MODTRAN, MuSES 7.1 can now, in addition to predicting atmospheric path radiance and transmission, create a hemispherical structured sky to serve as radiance source for detailed reflections of the sky.

Version 7.1 of ThermoAnalytics software is now available via download and CD-Rom. For a complete list of new features in version 7.1, click here.
