1. CREATE AND SOLVE YOUR CFD MODEL.
TAI currently supports data exchange of geometry, convection coefficient, and fluid-film temperature data with Fluent and Star-CD.
2. IMPORT THE GEOMETRY AND RESULTS.
Load the geometry, convection coefficients, and fluid-film temperatures into RadTherm or MuSES Pro using either the Patran  Neutral or NASTRAN file format. 
3. SET UP AND SOLVE THE TAI THERMAL MODEL
Using our extremely intuitive graphical user interface, quickly apply thermal conditions to your model (a heat flux, a forced temperature curve, etc.). Press "run" and immediately view your results as the analysis proceeds.

Why supplement Fluent or Star-CD with ThermoAnalytics software?

  • SAVE TIME - CFD analysis can be tedious and time consuming.  With the inclusion of radiation exchange, CFD solution times increase by orders of magnitude; however, this is not the case with TAI software. TAI utilizes a state-of-the-art voxel-based ray tracer to compute radiation view factors and solar projected (apparent) areas. This provides the fastest radiation exchange solver on the market. 
  • INCREASE ACCURACY - TAI Software offers realistic environments. Our terrain model incorporates the full effects of solar shadowing, multiple reflections, and re-radiation of geometric features. 
  • PERFORM RAPID APPROXIMATIONS - TAI Software includes a built-in convection library. Some automotive companies perform several design iterations using our wind convection model prior to starting a full integrated-CFD model.
